Abstract

This article presents a perspective that brings the design over to the scientific disciplines from the Social Sciences. Traditionally it has been seen as a matter studied in the artistic area and that has not been characterized by a generation of scientific investigations character. His methods of creation have been based on the intuition, the aesthetic taste and the personal experience. At present a new current named Design Research is introducing the scientific methodology in the development of the projects of design. This implies that the resultant product has been designed based on information and conclusions obtained by proceeding from scientific investigation principally of the Social Sciences.
