Abstract

We present a serial 51 cases of melanomas treated by enucleation at F.J.D. between 1945 and 1989. We have followed those patients, adjunting the histological specimen. We analyze the results, studding the different prognostic factors and its influence on the metastatic related death. We present then the enucleation as a valid alternative for the treatment of uveal melanoma.
