Abstract

Within severe traumatic disease, vascular trauma has a low incidence, and is an important cause of morbidity and mortality. In addition, the increasing performance of invasive techniques has been linked to a high number of iatrogenic vascular lesions. We lack records that evaluate the incidence of these lesions or their evolution in pediatric age. We analyze the incidence of vascular trauma over the years and the prognostic factors of mortality, as well as the evolution of reconstructions in pediatric age and the therapeutic attitude in patients with severe traumatic injury of extremities...
