Abstract

COMFOR-SUDOE:“Integrated and Smart management of mixed Forests and mixed-species plantations in southwest Europe” seeks to promote complex forests (mixed and irregular) and multi-species plantations as a resilient adaptive strategy in response to climate change and declining biodiversity. The project is establishing different restorationactions and social and economic measures to raise public awareness on the role of complex forests to increase resilience in southwest Europe’s forests.
