Abstract

This work is a compendium of research experiences that aims to illustrate the characteristics and impact of multimedia progress on public transport in Spain. A graph of technical evolution of mass transport and mass communication media, would initially show the advantage of the first group, but currently the diversification and complexity of the audio and video devices have won the race to them. Media has become a part of city transportation systems all over the world, Spain included. Its programming, consequences and reception by the audience are the keynotes of this work and also is including a proposal of creation rules.
