Abstract

This Doctoral Thesis studies the possibilities of educational action that opens the incorporation curricular from the media of audio-visual communication to the school. For it, his presence justifies itself by means of the consideration of needs, aims, possibilities and methods for the insertion of wireless and television contents in the educational practice of the ruled not university education. The social current reality needs an approximation and a critical and reflexive knowledge of the media system and of his principal technological vehicles of expression on the part of pupils and teachers, not only to improve the own processes of education and learning, but also to advance in the audio-visual literacy and in a global education as for communication. If the means of information and spectacles agree of way good protagonist departs from the public space, the school will to can find a suitable way of not giving the back to an unavoidable phenomenon that beside reporting the reality it her helps, in a powerful way in numerous occasions, to construct by means of the presentation or absence of a few certain values, models of conduct or stereotypes.
