Resumo

The general objectives of the soils study have been: To establish the reference value of trace elements from the determination of background values and to demonstrate the availability differences between an added element to a soil and its litogenic content in soil. The general objectives of the waters study have been: to establish the chemical quality of water based on its comparison with indicators according with the use requirements of this water and to relate the quality of the analysed waters with the basin litology, that is, to consider which processes have brought to the current water composition.
