Résumé

This research analyze, with a comparative method, the filmography of Brazilian filmmaker Glauber Rocha and the influence, whether direct or indirect, that he received from Luis Buñuel. The thematic analysis reveal that Buñuel’s opera have an effect on the political-religious conception of Rocha’s movies.
