Zusammenfassung

The thesis focuses on the psychological phenomena of mental representations. It analyzes how people integrate their new experiences by attaching to them their own meanings and subjectivities. In terms of the theoretical background, the the sis explores how people¿s experiences are transformed into mental representation that organizes memories, ideas and beliefs. This thesis takes a ¿contructivist¿ standpoint by conceiving human beings as autonomous and responsible of their surrounding circumstances. The phenomenon of ¿knowing¿ is understood, thus, as an active process of creation in which subject-object duality appears highly entangled. It is argued that this ¿contructivist? view of human being as active creator of their own worl
