In 1948, the United Nations General assembly proclaims the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these right and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance. This recognition for the maximum participation of women in equal conditions, indirectly serves to facilitate the presence of international women leaders supported by international laws. 2. SYNTHESIS The leadership of contemporary men and women from the Hispanic Community is a tangible reality in the United States of America. In this PhD thesis the life studies of 42 Spanish speaking women leaders in the USA: in politics, business and academia are analysed, looking into the importance in their leadership of Spanish as a heritage language, English as a second language and education. The methodology used to gather the necessary data was the personal interview to 21 of the women leaders using the web based survey platform SurveyMonkey, and from the analysis of personal/official documents of the resting 21 women leaders.
