El origen del periodismo de guerra actual en Españael análisis de los corresponsales en el conflicto del Norte de África entre 1893 y 1925

Resumo

MelillaModern Spanish war journalism was born in Africa, where hundreds of correspondents and photojournalists travelled between 1893 and 1925. Pedro Antonio de Alarcón, journalist, and Enrique Facio, photographer, became pioneers by following the army to Morocco in 1859 and 1860. Other journalists followed in the journey to the Spanish territory of this protectorate. They arrived in waves to cover the crisis of Sidi Aguariach in 1893, the events of 1909 and campaigns in the 1920s, especially after the defeats of 1921, and the Alhucemas landing in 1925. Their coverage, forgotten, has now been rebuilt and analyzed to focus the professional criteria that they followed, despite censorship.
