Keywords: Competence assessment, Resident Nursing Intern (NRI), occupational health nursing. Abstract: The training programme of the major in Occupational Health Nursing, which was approved by RD 450/2005 of 22nd April, is carried out in teaching units accredited for this training and is published in Order SAS/1348/2009 of 6th May. This programme describes the scope of action, objectives, competences, duration of training, learning methodology and minimum activities to be carried out with continuous, annual and final formative evaluation, but does not cover or suggest the evaluation tools that allow the acquisition of these competences to be evidenced. There is a validated instrument for the evaluation of the competences of the Degree in Nursing¿ the "ECOEnf Scale". This instrument has been adapted to other majors and was taken as a reference, as well as the method for its design and validation, in order to perform its adjustment with the aim of having a tool enabling the evaluation of the competences of the Resident Nursing Intern (RNI) of this major, with the help of experts in occupational health nursing, by means of consensus techniques and applying validation rates. The final result is the "ECOEnfTRA" Scale¿ an evaluation tool made up of eight subscales, with criteria and levels of achievement, as well as the "minimum level of achievement required" for each one of them and for each year of training. The content validity and internal reliability of the rubrics that make up the "ECOEnfTRA" scale and the consensus for the minimum level of achievement required, which the RNIs must proof at the end of each residency year, have been achieved. A proposal for the implementation of this scale is also provided. This is a specific tool for these competences, which complements the general evaluation proposal contained in the Resolution of 21 March 2018, of the General-Directorate for Professional Regulation.
