Resumen
A learner’s dictionary is one which has been conceived, defined and designed as a fundamental tool for teaching and learning a language, regardless of the age of its users (learner is not synonymous with school) and whether or not it is monolingual, bilingual or multilingual. The language learning process can only reach fruition if the tools are appropriate for the needs and capabilities of the people using them. The use of these lexicographic resources within a teaching setting is therefore simple, since they have been designed and defined in accordance with the needs and capabilities of their potential users.
