We analyze the self-references to communication issues in seven Spanish newspapers nationwide distribution. The press referred to the true or what is true about communication as a way of making the speech but also media construction of social reality. Analysis of the headlines can observe key thematic and logical premises of this truth media imposed by the hegemonic discourse of the media.
