Hypermedia language and digitalization are the main features of the times we live in. The author asks himself about the consequences that new technologies could bring when considering a work of art, beginning with the conviction that its digitalization stops it from being an object of worship and turns it into an element of visual communication. Perspectives can be very different when facing the fear of de-humanization that new technologies cause on some people: Art, and its history, are going through an authentic revival thanks to the beneficial effects that new intermedia supports bring to them as a way of communication and creation.
