Abstract
In April, 1950 Intercontinental Radio of Madrid was inaugurated. They are 60 years of life of the issuer. Until the first years of the decade of the 70, Intercontinental Radio has been a place in the history of the Spanish radio. Announcers like Ángel de Echenique or Ángel Soler, and the programs " Ruede la bola " or " Consultorio de Elena Francis " they are a part of the collective memory . That started by being a big project of some of the most influential prominent figures of the pro-Franco Dictatorship, today has turned into the flagship of the issuers of the Group Intereconomía . The following pages are an offer to frame historically their principal protagonists.
