Abstract

The diachronic process of Spanish cyberjournalism design crosses over three steps: a mere online copy of newspapers, typical of the second half of the nineties; the strengthening of strategic axis like multimedia and interactivity, on the first half of the first decade of 21st century; and nowadays, making deeper all of these features and searching new formats like mobile telephony. In order to verify the truth of these tendencies, two of the paradigmatic Spanish cybermedia have been studied: Vilaweb (the first one to incorporate to Internet) and AND (a pioneer in the adaptation of its design to items like Web 2.0 or Cyberjournalism 3.0). This analysis is based in these elements and their application to the web sites of the two cybermedia. The study of these two case stories will also allow us to understand in a better way this group of short, middle and long term tendencies.
