Resumen

Adaptation to the European Higher Education Area, Bologna-university studies in Spain is a very important structural change that exposes very clearly the need for innovative educational models to be applied from now on, new subjects of the teachings of Grade. It is desirable to implement new procedures to enable more dynamic learning environment and tools for acquiring knowledge and skills by students. It is a difficult transformation for the university community that will affect both the management as to implementation of teaching and monitoring. The 2010/2011 academic year is the year the adequacy of studies in the Faculty of Information Sciences at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid in the New European Higher Education Area. In this new scenario has implemented a project of educational innovation and improvement of teaching, number 247, funded by the Department for Development and Quality of Teaching at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, aimed at students in first year degree in Journalism. The project aims to facilitate the acquisition and development of skills that can foster and facilitate students´ active participation in the construction of theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject "Theory of Enterprise Information" and procedures for evaluating that knowledge. Throughout this contribution, we describe the structure and orientation of this teaching innovation project for the study of the mass media.
