Zusammenfassung
The concept of format is used to initiate a derivation by meanings, uses and connotations. Format in its material dimensions, format as a commercial category, format as a convention, out of format, standards and limits are concepts that intermingle in the polysemy of the term. Art seems strongly dependent on these concepts. A program written in Processing goes through the text trying to write it, finding problems in the adequacy of the format, finding different resolutions and sizes. The text can never be read in its entirety, although it appears insinuating itself behind technical artifacts.
