Abstract
The dossier of the 107 edition of Telos review dedicates its central pages to an inseparable binomial: young people and social networks. After more than a decade of history, social networks have transformed the way of communicating that has the entire population, although young people have been their most loyal users. Beyond serving as a mere tool of communication and entertainment, today new chllenges have to be addressed such as the privacy of personal data or their ability to contribute to the authentic development of young people as citizens.
