Abstract
The accomplishment of reproductions of cultural heritage constitutes a tool for preventive conservation that museums and institutions ofthe whole world use habitually. The exhibition or the lending of these copies allows the original to be protected preserving it in the best environmental conditions and also facilitates its diffusion. The present article develops the procedure of accomplishment of reproductions by means of the system of making molds with silicone and making the reproduction in resin. Besides, the article puts in value this procedure, because it constitute a part of the whole process in which participate also 3D technologies.
