Resumen
Within the new media art has emerged a new form of artistic production we call audiovisual performance. These practices are characterized by live performing in front of the audience, with audiovisual content interconnected in a work of hybrid nature, in which sonic and visual layers are equally important. This type of work has led to a convergence of artists from the visual arts, especially from video art and generative digital image, and sound artists and experimental musicians. The design of this type of experience makes necessary the conception and construction of a device able to organize, process and generate visual and audio content. These devices are configured as materialization of artist’s thought, on a role glide between media, device and message
