Resumo

The present article delves into the investigation concerning the existential crisis of the contemporary individual. The study of this subject is addressed from the anthropological focus of the artistic discipline that is the performance. An effort was made to apply a cultural, artistic and philosophical perspective that in certain instances added to the anthropological point of view, by offering a more three dimensional investigation. In this manner, it was firstly created a connection between the past and the present of certain characteristics of social nature that help in the understanding of the moment that surrounds and conforms the present of the topics investigated.
