Abstract
Background This work is based on a pilot educational innovation. Part of an interactive experience between UCM students and people with disabilities, their associations, their monitors and their families in an environment belonging to the university, in order to acquire complex aspects proposed generic skills of participating subjects. Method Participants: Teachers and students of the UCM, professionals and users psychosocial rehabilitation centers and employment of people with disabilities. Active and participative methodology based on the experience of students. Interaction with reality to know. Results Students have achieved and / or improved: knowledge, skills, attitudes and values proposed cross competencies relevant qualifications. The objectives have been achieved through the activities. Conclusions The experiential work outside the classroom is valuable to learn the complexities of the competences.
