Abstract

The narrative world Cervantes presents Rinconete y Cortadillo is immersed in a realistic environment. The work reflects the Monipodio world and the underworld of Seville in the form of pictures or scenes. Throughout the narration is given account of a wide diversity of discourse, where the word is the protagonist along with the characters and, within it, the verb is the Centre of attention of the Narrator. To emphasize the importance of verbal in the organic presentation of the pictures, the action of the novel moves in the field of orality through the communicative dialogue between the characters and the writing through the narration and description.
