Abstract
The studies on the Tro-Cortesian Codex have generally been oriented towards analyzing its content, with repeated attempts to discern the meaning of the calendars and activities it contains, both daily and extraordinary, and their relationships. However the Project: The Tro-Cortesian Codex of the Museo de América de Madrid centers more on its internal structure than on its cultural meaning. Through a complete examination of its written and iconographic structure we intend to stablish the technical and ideological behavior with wich the scribe approached it, finding the pattern under wich the manuscript was made, and establishing when it was written, how many people were involved, its ethnolinguistic origin and their behavior concerning the information they intended to include in the book.
