Abstract
The Historical Map Archives of the Spanish Army Geographical Service hold an extensive collection of maps that show the evolution of maritime and terrestrial cartography. The section dedicated to Spain is particularly interesting. These archives contain many items of great historical value and these are ordered, clasified and cathalogued both in a computer and in a manual data base. All these resources are open to scholars and people in general
