Resumen

Se analiza el contexto social, político, mediático y científico en el que la Fibromialgia aparece como un fenómeno de amplio impacto. Se propone una mirada desde un modelo biopsicosocial y se sugiere que este conglomerado sintomático pueda haberse constituído en el destino de la histeria en el siglo XXI.
