Resumen

This essay seeks to offer a critical review of the copious literature that during the last ten years has studied the Simonidean fragments preserved by the Oxyrhynchus Papyri 2327 and 3965. We study especially fr.10-18 West² (from the elegy on Plataea battle) and fr.22 West² (from an erotic elegy).
