Abstract
The present article focuses on the situation of Literature in German Switzerland throughout the second half of the 20th century. It will be demonstrated the existence of some constant factors in spite of the passage of time, the sociological and political evolution and the changes and transformations experimented during that period. Those factors allow the definition of common genres to authors who belong to different generations and who have been coexisting in this rich literary scenery.
