In the present study two of the evaluation tools used in the context of job orientation are validated, one about job centrality and the other about job aims. The sample is made of 313 individuals, 54.6% are women, the average age is 27 and a half, with heterogenous training and job situation. To complete these tool the intensity of every value and aim has to be evaluated and they have to be ordered according to its importance. Special attention is paid to the relevance given to work compared to other areas of life and the kind of job aims to which persons give greatest importance. The factorial analysis offers five factors: job autonomy, personal development, professional development, comfort and one of instrumental character. Their combination reflects what the individuals want and what they don't want and allows us to distinguish four groups of individuals according to their preferences for a specific job.
