Abstract
From a selection of High Middle Ages diplomas, guarded in the Cathedral of Leon Record Office, we have tried to define the different writing styles that, due to the variety of performances and characteristics, can be noticed in these documents and to know the different levies of graphic formation of the scribes and notaries who assumed their writing in order to study in depth their cultural ability and educational process
