Resum

FUNGI make up one of the organic groups with the greatest power of adaptation, which in turn, makes their number quite amazing; very few of them within this group lack chlorophyl which obliges them to live as "Saprofitos" from other living organisms. They are the so-called pathogen for man. When fungi become parasites and make us ill, an infection known as "Micosis" develops. The object of this study is to establish the differential diagnosis between the most common types of Micosis which can affect the human foot. The development of this study deals almost exclusively with clinical-evolutionary aspects and will make reference to the biomorphological features of fungi, direct or cultured micological studies such as therapeutic aspect or possible treatments which are not the object of this work and besides go beyond the stated boundaries of the same. Method: It deals with and observational study of a descriptive kind based on the finding and comparing of different types of micosis, of those which inhabit us and of other pathologies which appear to confuse us. In order to achieve this, a wide range of bibliographies on this theme has been used, providing photographic illustrations with each explanation and accompanying comparison charts. Structure: It is based on classifying the different typesof micosis which affect the foot into two major groups: superficial micosis and internal micosis, the clinical data of each one of these is analysed, developed and compared leading to the establishment of the correct diagnosis.
