Deficits neuropsicologicos asociados a la enfermedad de alzheimer

Resumen

Veintiséis sujetos con enfermedad de Alzheimer, de edades comprendidas entre 64 y 75 años fueron comparados con un grupo de treinta y seis sujetos normales de las mismas características, con el objeto de realizar un estudio comparativo de evaluación neuropsicológica mediante la administración de una batería (Batería Neuropsicológica Luria-Nebraska). Las diferencias más significativas aparecen en las escalas que exploran las funciones atencionales, memoria, aspectos visoespaciales y habilidades aritméticas. Se concluye con unas orientaciones acerca de la necesidad de nuevos planteamientos en la exploración neuropsicológica de las personas con demencia.
