Abstract
Ihe dialogue Gonsalus (Rome 1523) is one of first works by Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda. Although it is nowadays nearly forgotten, it is in itself an interesting testimony of the main worries where the later intellectuel task of its author was based on: the topie of the war and the compatibility of the militia with the Christian morals. Likewise, it stands for a neat example of the confrontation against the ideas of Erasmus.
