Abstract

This study tried to analize the possible changes that suffer the folicular sac through the age. This study was taken at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Departament of University Complutense de Madrid. 15 patiens were chosen for extraction of the third lower molar. Once were treated folicular sacs were divided in groups of ages: under 18, fron 19 to 40 and over 40. Foliculars sacs were analized by Hemaxotilline-eosine and trichromique of masson techniques. All the parameters analized, showed that while age increased the ameloblastic epitelium become a escamous epithelium, missing the epithelium cords. Also it was evident that conjuntive tissue changes from lax to fibrous tissue. Decreasing the amount of epithelium cords in cojuntive through the age.
