Abstract
Alloplastic materials are used for repair of orbital floor defects with a low rate of complications when proper surgical technique is performed. Complications associated with alloplastic materials are usually found on the first postoperative month. The most frequent complication is excessive foreign body reactions around the implant. Late proptosis, more than 3 months after surgery, is a rare complication in these patients. We present three cases of late proptosis after orbital floor repair.
