Abstract
Epithelial-mioepithelial carcinoma accounts for aproximately one per cent of salivary gland tumours. This tumour is gining wider recognition followinf inclusion into the WHO histological classification os salivary gland tumours in 1990. We describe an unusual presentation the two bilateral, metacronic biphasic tumours of parotid gland, mucoepidemoid and multicentric epithelial-mioepithelial carcinoma. The management of this tumour is still evolving with surgical excision being the main yet been stablished but high local recurrence rates despite apparently adecuate excision, account the possibility of a multicentric origin.
