Abstract
This article presents an approach to the teaching of languages for working purposes; specifically, the so-called español con fines laborales (EFL). This proposal attempts to fulfill the formative needs of a wide group of immigrant workers, that tend to remain aside of the learning programs on language for working purposes. Their jobs, the working relationships and the especial linguistic interaction in these situations are the features that define this teaching area.
