Abstract
The present study identified the attribution processes, personality characteristics, and the prinicpal causes involved in the causal attributions made by workers who were involved in serious work related accidents. A qualitative study, based on personal interviews and discussion groups, was carried out to identify attribution processes as well as different personality characteristics. Conclusions and recommendations for future studies were presented.
