Resum
This study is main objective was to present the pattern of current alcohol use in its diverse forms (beer, came, liquors and cocktails) in adolescents of the city of Majadahonda in Madrid. A sample of 1887 adolescents of both sexes was used (49,1% men and 49% women) with ages between 14 and 18 years. All students filled out a general questionnaire to get the most important information, and the results pointed out that the most used substances with a bigger rate of consumption by a bigger number of adolescents with a weekly frequency were the wine and the cocktails. The initial age of consumption of alcohol is located around 13,7 years although from the age of 15 there is a bigger progress toward the use of all the analyzed alcoholic drinks.
