Abstract

This study shows the remarkable inheritance of the Baroque acquire new vigour at the present time in the movement neobarroco. The starting point of this «turn to the labyrinth» is the verification of the permanency of certain Baroque and neobaroque central point in the contemporary culture, so much in what refers to its speeches like in its productions and lifestyles. This linking of the Baroque culture with the global latemodernity is explored through the peak of the body, of the irnage and of the embodied representation, as well as of the architectural creation. It is sought to promote a reflection on the Baroque thing as excellent inheritance to have a deeper and more understanding vision of the current Spanish culture and, for extension, of how both cultures (the Baroque one and the latemodern one) can be articulated in a proposal of enlarged modernity.
