Abstract
An offence has been made by more than one person. In order to know the possible amount of alleged offenders, a genetic profile analysis of the available forensic evidence has been carried out to study STR systems. In this paper we show an algorithm to catculate the probability of the genetic profile of n random persons of the general population to match that of the evidence found in the crime scenario. The work ends with the probabilities of sorne determinate cases.
