Zusammenfassung
The composition of the volatile oils produced by Nepeta nepetella L. and N. amethystina Poiret was determined using gas chromatography and infrared spectra analysis. All of Nepeta species studied produced nepetalactone diastereoisomers. Many minor components were identified in the oils. The essential oil of N. amethystina was studied here for the first time.
