Abstract

In this work, we carry out a study about the statistical content in the PAU from the district of Canary Islands. We observe that the students prefer the questions of statistics, and that the use of the graphs in the resolution of the problems, involves that they obtain higher qualifications. The analysis of the errors allows us to suggest certain proposals to improve the process of teaching-learning of the statistical inference. We consider convenient for the assimilation of the concepts and the development of the statistical reasoning, the use of analogies, management of the TICS and the work of projects with real data.
