Abstract

The university is nowadays committed in a process of change which is marked both by the renovation imposed by the policymakers and by Plans of Convergence, which seem to impose criteria of rationality and effi ciency to its mission. The reality of this change should be fi ltered by the highest standards of quality, in such a way to determine this criterion as the right one to integrate in the academic life of the future. Educational quality is an indispensable guarantee for this process. Its mission from the perspective of teachers has been investigated in many studies, however the perspective from the student is also needed. This is the focus present in this study, in which the design is centred in seeking students opinions related to the characteristics valued in their teachers.
