Résumé

In Pardo (1984), a Sequential Sampling Plan based on the Informational Energy (S.S.P.I.E.) was proposed. The S.S.P.I.E. is similar to the plan proposed by Lindley (1956,57) using the Shannon Entropy. In this paper, the S.S.P.I.E. is applied to the case where the statistician is interested in obtaining information about a monotonous funtion of the parameter ? of an exponential distribution. Concretely, the functions ?, ?1/2, log ?, 1/ ? are studied, and similar results to El-Sayyad's (1969) are obtained.
