Abstract
There are several Greek and Slavic versions of the apocalyptic pseudoepigraphon known as The Third Book of Baruch. In the Russian "short" version there is a passage which establishes an astonishing resonance with what the Koran says about the creation of Adam, his veneration by the angels and the rebellion of Samael/Sanatael/Ibli-s.
