This paper is an analysis and a comment on the literary activity in Lisbon during the last years of 11th Century and the early years of 12th Century. The most of the authors who visited this city were sponsored by the wazi-r and faqi-h Muhammad b. Ibra-hi-m al-Fihri-, a literary informant of Ibn Bassa-m as well as his patron. In this time in Lisbon, there are also some religious men whose ascetic life and poems attract some disciples who want to learn from them. The meeting between al-Ima-m de Silves (560/1164) and Bakka-r b. Da-wu-d al-Marwa-ni- is analized highlighting his attitude of tolerance towards humor and muy^u-n poetry.
