Resumen

The objective of this research is to analyse the impact of some regional public policies on internal migration in Spain. With such aim it is precise to determine empirically the incidence of diverse variables, and its interaction in the quantity and direction of the migratory flows between the Spanish regions, relating them to the different public policies that are carried out as an indicator of the different conditions of the regions of origin and destination. In this model, individual decision to emigrate and the election of the destination are acts that are made simultaneously. Therefore the variables are grouped in three vectors that respectively gather the personal characteristics, the economic conditions of the origin regions and destination and the migration costs and the supply of public services. The interest of this approach is to consider macro and micro level at the same time and also to include the possible interaction among them.
